idk why do firebenders lose their bending during the day of black sun but dont lose their bending at night like thats also dark bitch wtf

I don’t think it’s just the darkness I think it has something to do with the blocking of the sun spirit’s energy something something magic something moon something. Like how Katara is a more powerful bender depending on the moon and the tides. Plus I’m pretty sure firebenders tend to be weaker at night, but not completely powerless.

Firebenders are strongest during the day because of the energy they get from the sun.

Waterbenders get their energy from the moon and their power rises and falls with the tides/lunar phases.

An eclipse is a big ball of water energy covering a big ball of fire energy, meaning the moon is 2x strong against the sun.

Firebenders don’t lose their power at night because moonlight is refracted sunlight.

Seriously, did no one think of this? When Iroh tells Zhao, “Don’t kill the moon spirit, we need it too” what did you think he meant?

Zhao was that much of a fucking idiot.

Here’s some hard to swallow pills that’ll probably make people upset but is 100% the truth and idc.

You do not have to stay in a relationship with a mentally ill person if it becomes too much for you to handle. You are not their saviour, that’s not your responsibility to save them.

Any person who uses their mental instability to control you staying is a shitty person. IE “if you leave me I swear to god I’ll kill myself”, still not your responsibility, LEAVE.

Sooo,..if your other half becomes mentally ill,you have no responsibility to stay with them when it becomes rough? Like,you can just dump them?

If it becomes too much to handle,seek help,but dont abandon them.Just when they need you the most.

Personally,I dont agree with this post.. Not dissing,just saying.

They’re not saying jump ship at the first sign of mental illness. They’re saying that you can’t be someone’s therapist for them. Love doesn’t cure mental illness. You can’t love it away. And if they use their illness as an excuse to become in any way abusive, hurtful, or aggressive toward you, you are never obligated to deal with abuse to help them.

You have to look out for yourself too, it can’t be all about them just because they have a mental illness. And everyone’s illness is different.

Some illnesses can cause behaviors that are difficult to deal with when you’re on the receiving end of them if they’re not being worked on. Possessiveness, jealousy, paranoia, logical leaps to accusations, apathy toward you, neglect, difficulty managing anger, delusions about you they can’t differentiate from reality, among others….

All these things can negatively affect other people and being mentally ill doesn’t absolve anyone from being responsible for the harm they cause others.

Love is love, but no one’s obligated to be in a relationship for any reason. Even something minor. Even this. You only get one life, and if you’re unhappy, you don’t need to stay that way to keep someone else happy.

My dad told me that he has a coworker who’s a trans woman. She was married to this girl before her transition and they remained together after it. Everyone at work respects her pronouns. My dad is in a chiefing position at his office and he told me that nobody jokes behind her back. She and her wife have two cute dogs together and I felt like I should share this story bc I want everyone to know that this positivity and respect exists and you deserve it. Don’t ever dare think that you don’t because you do.

Update: they have three dogs now
